Ilaria Amato is a research assistant for the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. Previously, she was a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital as part of the neurology department, which investigated how olfactory testing could be used to predict the development of Alzheimer’s Disease in people who are cognitively normal. Amato received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Endicott College. She is interested in studying the connection between physical and mental health and plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
