Lydia K. Bergen is the executive director of the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. In this role she is a member of the Study leadership team and oversees all aspects of the Study’s execution including personnel management, project management, inter-institutional and inter-program coordination, reporting, and budgets. In addition, she manages the Study’s advisory boards and plays a senior administrative role in the Players Studies and Pilot Studies initiatives. Previously, Bergen was the director of developing programs for Harvard Catalyst | The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center where she lead the strategic planning and development of a portfolio of emerging programs. She has a master of public policy degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Her background and interests are in building networks and facilitating collaborative projects among diverse constituencies (e.g., scientists, governments, businesses, nonprofit organizations, foundations).
