Jasmine Taylor

Jasmine Taylor has had an extensive career in medicine, including both private practice and academic medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has practiced psychiatry for more than 20 years. As an associate professor at Morehouse School of Medicine, Taylor provides patient care through the Integrated Health Service program and has served community clinics within the Grady Healthcare System since 2018. From 2014 to 2018, Taylor provided care to hundreds of patients in the county mental health centers of Fulton, Cobb, and DeKalb, delivering psychiatric care of the highest quality, with compassion and respect.
From 2002 to 2014, Taylor served as associate vice chancellor for multicultural affairs at University of Mississippi Medical Center. In this capacity, she led efforts in working toward a more diverse student body and workforce. She has been the recipient of a number of honors and awards. Most recently, Taylor was named a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
