Karen K. Miller

Karen K. Miller, MD, is an investigator for the In-Person Assessments, an initiative of the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. She and Dr. David Nathan are leading the endocrine assessment part of the study, investigating the impact of professional football on players’ risk for diabetes, fatty liver, low testosterone, and other endocrine and metabolic disorders. Miller is the associate director of the neuroendocrine unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, co-clinical director of the Neuroendocrine and Pituitary Disorders Clinical Center at MGH, and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is an NIH-funded clinical researcher who has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.
