Andrea Roberts
Research Scientist
Andrea Roberts is a research scientist with the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University and a psychiatric epidemiologist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on mental health and neurological health, including causes and consequences of depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ALS and autism. Roberts also studies the psychological, behavioral, and physical health outcomes of trauma and stress, including cardiovascular and autoimmune disease, intimate partner violence, and health-risk behaviors. She is particularly interested in the effects of trauma on health across generations.
