Chad Brown is a 15-year NFL veteran and former Colorado Buffaloes linebacker. A standout at the University of Colorado, Brown was named to numerous All-Big Eight and All-America teams. He was a key defender for the Buffaloes, helping to lead Colorado to its first and only national championship. Drafted in the second round of the 1993 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown went on to play 15 seasons with the Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, and the New England Patriots. A three-time Pro Bowl and a two-time All-Pro selection, Brown played on the 1995 Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2007 New England Patriots Super Bowl teams. At the time of his retirement in 2007, he led all active players in sacks. A leader on and off the field during his career, Brown was named team captain seven times over his 15 seasons. He served as a rep for the National Football League Players Association for six years, and remains active today. With a true love for the game of football, Brown started a Pop Warner league in his hometown of Pasadena, California, and also works as a broadcaster for both the NFL and college football. Brown is also an entrepreneur who owns four businesses in the pet industry.
