Dean Marengi is the senior data coordinator for the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. His primary role is to coordinate the collection and synthesis of quantitative data for player studies. Marengi previously worked with a start-up organization to offer data management consulting for clinical trials at pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Prior to his time there, he was a clinical research coordinator in the Neuroendocrine Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he supported his team with the investigation of oxytocin and its effects on caloric intake and food motivation neurocircuitry. Marengi received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Massachusetts. His research interests include nutrition and obesity epidemiology and prevention.
