Liz Carew brings several years of experience in supporting the execution of clinical trials to the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. Most recently she served as a trial communications specialist with TrialNetworks, a trial management software vendor, collaborating with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to develop communications, online training materials, tools, and resources to facilitate expedient trials. Carew spent several years at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Sports Medicine Division as a clinical research coordinator, supporting investigators by assisting in study design, IRB submission, data collection, and analysis. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital she was a research assistant with the Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction Study Group, an academic research organization that conducts clinical trials of patients with cardiovascular disease or who have risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
