Joanne Borg-Stein

Joanne Borg-Stein, MD, is an investigator for the In-Person Assessments, an initiative of the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. Borg-Stein is also an associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation, and associate chair for sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. She is the medical director of the Spaulding-Wellesley Rehabilitation Center, chief of physical medicine and rehabilitation and the medical director of the Spine Center at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Borg-Stein serves as team physician for varsity athletics at Wellesley College and director of the sports medicine fellowship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her primary clinical and research focus is regenerative injection therapies for osteoarthritis and sports injuries.
